GTA 6 Radio Stations and Soundtrack: What Rockstar Has Revealed

Last updated Official info and rumors, labeled

Quick answerOn October 8, 2026 Rockstar previewed six in-game radio stations and named three songs. The list is partial. Reports on the album conflict: one says details are still to come, another says a 34-track album launches November 19.

What was revealed on October 8

Rockstar added a music section to its game page on October 8, 2026, and Kotaku summarized it the same day (Kotaku). Official The stations it previewed, with Rockstar’s own genre descriptions:

StationDescribed as
Flash FMPop hits
Back Country RadioClassic country and outlaw tracks
Cocoteo FMModern Latin hits
The Chamber 106.6Hard rock and speed metal
Afro Bank FMAmapiano and African hits
Dirty South ClassicsRegional rap and hip hop classics

Official Kotaku says these are not all the stations, so treat this as a partial list. Older articles that mention only one station, or none, were written before this reveal and are out of date.

Songs named so far

The previews included snippets of songs. Kotaku names three of them: “Electric Feel” by MGMT, “Raining Blood” by Slayer, and “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’” by Loretta Lynn (Kotaku). Official We do not list further songs. Earlier track lists that circulate online came from leaks, and the Kotaku piece links them without verifying them. Rumor / unconfirmed

How the radio works

According to Kotaku’s summary of Rockstar’s page (Kotaku): Official

  • Stations can be played on foot through Jason’s and Lucia’s phones, which Kotaku calls a first for the franchise.
  • On-demand podcasts can play on foot or in cars.
  • Rockstar claims the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio in the series. That is Rockstar’s own description, not a measurement.

The DJ voices are in the previews, but the coverage we read does not name any DJ.

The album: conflicting reports

Rockstar’s game page says pre-ordering includes GTAVI: The Album (Rockstar). Official The details of the album are where sources split:

  • Kotaku says more music information and an album are “coming soon,” and that the album’s release date and contents are not announced (Kotaku).
  • Gamer Social Club, citing a press release, reports a 34-track album called Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album launching alongside the game on November 19, 2026 (Gamer Social Club). Rumor / unconfirmed We could not open the press release itself.
  • Single counts differ. One source says six singles are out, another says eight. Rumor / unconfirmed
  • Radio inclusion is unconfirmed. It is not confirmed that album tracks will play on the in-game stations. Rumor / unconfirmed

We would trust the Rockstar page’s wording, which confirms an album comes with pre-orders, and wait for Rockstar to publish a track list before repeating a number. See the preorder guide for the rest of what pre-ordering includes.

Why music news matters for buyers

If the soundtrack is part of why you want the game, three practical points:

  1. Licensed songs are sometimes removed from games later. We have no information either way about this game, so we are not predicting it.
  2. The album being included with pre-orders means it may have value separate from the game, but only if you want it.
  3. A partial station list means surprises are likely. Do not assume your favorite genre is missing because it is not on this list.

What we have not confirmed

  • The full list of stations and DJs.
  • The album’s track list, count and release timing.
  • Which songs are in the final game.

Rockstar’s newswire is where more would appear first. When it does, we update the table and the date at the top.
