GTA 6 Story and Characters: Jason and Lucia

What Rockstar has told us

The story setup comes from the game’s page, and it is short. The game follows Jason and Lucia in Vice City, in the fictional state of Leonida. After an easy score goes wrong, the pair become entangled in a criminal conspiracy (Rockstar). Official

That is nearly all that has been officially said about the plot. This guide stays close to it. We are not going to describe scenes or twists, because anything beyond that comes from trailers read as clues, fan theories, or leaks, none of which we can verify.

The protagonists

Jason and Lucia are central to the story. Rockstar’s page ties them to the Ultimate Edition too, which includes an exclusive collection of items connected to their story (Rockstar). Official

What we do not have from Rockstar’s page: backstories, ages, voice cast details, or how the game switches or splits between the two. If you read confident descriptions of any of that, check where the writer got it.

The setting

Vice City is the city, and Leonida is the state around it. The regions Rockstar has named are covered in our map guide. The story takes place there, and the map is described as large.

Trailers

Rockstar’s page lists four videos:

1. Trailer 1
2. Trailer 2
3. An Extended Look
4. Launch Trailer, featured on the page and dated October 15, 2026 in the newswire

Official We do not embed or copy them, since the videos belong to Rockstar. You can watch them on its site.

Music and radio

Rockstar published a news item on October 8, 2026 about the game’s in-game radio and music feature (Rockstar). Official Its page also says pre-ordering includes GTAVI: The Album. Official We have not listed individual songs because we did not confirm a track list from a Rockstar page.

Rating and tone

The game is rated ESRB Mature. The descriptors on Rockstar’s page are blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, strong language, strong sexual content, and drug and alcohol use. It also notes in-game purchases. Official If you are buying for a younger player, that rating is the thing to read first.

Single-player or online?

Rockstar has called the game a single-player experience. We cover the online question separately in GTA 6 Online.

What is still unknown

• The full cast, and who plays whom.
• The structure of the story and how long it is.
• Whether the story includes elements that the trailers hint at.
• The soundtrack’s complete track list.

What we leave out on purpose

We do not summarize leaked footage or story documents. Leaks are unauthorized and often wrong, and describing them can spoil the game for readers who have not asked for it.
