Check whether the unlock time is official yet. Rockstar has not announced an exact unlock time. The US PlayStation Store lists the release as 12:00 AM EST on November 19, 2026, but that is a store listing, not a statement about unlock times.

FAQ

Is this checklist official?

No. It is an independent fan tool. Each step is tagged Official when a Rockstar, Take-Two, PlayStation or Xbox page states it, Unconfirmed when it rests on press or estimates, and Tip when it is general advice and not a claim about the game.

Where is my progress saved?

Only in your browser, on your device, using local storage. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing site data or using another browser starts you from zero.

What download size does the planner use?

Rockstar has not published a size. Type your own estimate in the size field. The table also shows three unofficial estimates (120, 150 and 200 GB) for reference. The download times are arithmetic at your rated speed, and real speeds are usually lower.

Does preload let me play early?

No. Preload downloads the files only. The game stays locked until the unlock time.
